See, if that were the case, skodas would never sell here nor would we have ever progressed beyond ambassadors. India is a price sensitive market, but also, a value sensitive market. You offer the right value, it will sell. And there is a market for powerful compact cars. Just because someone prefers a small car doesnt mean he doesnt want a powerful one...And to that extent you are right, our compact cars are quite low on power thanks to the current big players in the market.
Finally cars are starting to look more "futuristic". Come on 2010!!!Matt
