Yup !! but, you've got to wait till 2010 for it. Also, do you think they will stand a chance in this cost sensitive market against the Maruti's and Hyundai's?
See, if that were the case, skodas would never sell here nor would we have ever progressed beyond ambassadors.
India is a price sensitive market, but also, a value sensitive market. You offer the right value, it will sell.
And there is a market for powerful compact cars. Just because someone prefers a small car doesnt mean he doesnt want a powerful one...
And to that extent you are right, our compact cars are quite low on power thanks to the current big players in the market.
Finally cars are starting to look more "futuristic". Come on 2010!!!

great..more pollution. They are probably gonna dump all the technologies which the west rejected here.
