Maruti Zen Estilo advertisement

I think this is the lyrics they use in the TV spot for the Maruti Zen Estilo, which I thought was a very nice one. Searched a lot, but couldnt find the storyboard or any mention of the ad online, but I found a video on you tube in which the song is sung.

Quite appropriate when referring to cars, boxes, little boxes!

Let me know it the ad appears online anytime!

The song's by Melvina Reynolds and it's called little boxes. The one you hear is by Pete Seeger. I don't know who wrote down the song though. :)

its a bit lame to use this song... as its main song for the tv show 'weeds' and the concept of the boxes and the people is exactly the same... bit of a rip off if you ask me

perhaps it is, but i thought the song was nice as was linking it to cars.

The song that is used in the Ad is by Pete Seegers but it is not the Album version. It is the Live version that he played live at Carnegie Hall Concert on June 18, 1963.

the current version of the ad has no song, just instrumentals..not sure why...

not sure if its appropriate though cos the song is a satire...it's actually lampooning little boxes

...if they are referring 2 the new zen as a little box, they certainly aren't doing their publicity campaign any good....in the original song little boxes stand for things which look all alike, where there is a marked lack of innovative or "out-of-the-box" thinking...
