...and heres how we cross the median. Obviously, the riders are to blame, but the road was recently laid and the surface is now upto the level, indeed above, the road - result is what you see. Note the stones in the picture.
The stones are for, painting lanes, clearly visible in the second picture. This is the way we paint lanes on national highways. Note the car trying to take a turn like the scooter pictured above? It just did and I missed taking a picture of it. It is not just cars, an occasional truck, bus also does it and during peak hours. Enjoy.
Our infrastructure sucks and then our sense of rules makes it worse...

Oh, you have no clue! Just check the Hosur road where all the giants of IT reside! The buses of wipro, infosys and many others do this routinely! Imagine how dangerous it could be, yet, these moronic drivers plunge on..
You said it!
Socialism and evasion of taxes have
made cynics of all of us. Respect
for law has diminished over the decades. once we start to break a
law (inncome tax) then we are immune to all other laws slowly.
We use pirated VCDs and software, etc...
I have not been to India from couple of years now. I am glad that people are talking the issue of corruption, breaking rules and other day to day problems in their own hands. I am sure people responsible for the project and people breaking the rules in pictures will feel guilty, if they see these pictures.
