If a vehicle breaks down on the road, apart from the usual stones on the road, for some strange reason, people cut off leaves from some nearby tree and tie it on the vehicle.

Dude, simple. If a vehicle breaks down on our roads, it takes so damn long for it to get cleared that it starts to vegetate! D-uh! :)
"You've become a vegetable" was a comment a former teacher used to have for his 'favourite' students !
